Flying Around the Busy City

"She is flying around the glittering city, hurrying to her next destination to deliver presents to children."

This time, I depicted Santa flying around a bustling city with the theme of the near future.
I created this work with particular attention to lighting. I would be happy if you think it is beautiful when you see it in a flash!
She only appears once a year at Christmas, so you may be lucky to see her.

My first Foundation piece was a Christmas illustration last year.
I was not good at drawing one-page illustrations with backgrounds.
I carefully drew it this time, making many revisions to make it a good work.
I remember that many people supported and encouraged me at that time.
This piece features such memorable characters once again.
It is a special work for me because I can feel how much I have grown since last year.

「煌びやかな都会を駆け回る彼女は、子どもたちへプレゼントを届けるために次の目的地へと急いでいる。」

今回は近未来をテーマに、賑やかな都会を飛び回るサンタを描きました。
ライティングにこだわって制作したので、パッと見た時に美しいと思ってもらえるような作品になっていたら嬉しいです。
彼女は年に一度のクリスマスにしか現れませんので、彼女を見ることが出来たあなたはラッキーかもしれません。

私の初 Foundation 作品は去年のクリスマスイラストでした。
背景込みの一枚イラストを描くのは得意ではありませんでしたが、いい作品になるように何度も修正を重ねながら丁寧に描きました。
その時も沢山の方に支えられ、盛り上げて頂いた事を覚えています。
今回の作品はそんな思い出深いキャラクターを、もう一度登場させました。
去年からの成長を感じられる、私にとって特別な作品となりました。
